Comment: Drive Image - Disk mgr? I get the following message when trying to run Drive Image: "Error 91 Disk Manager has been detected on drive %lu If you no longer need to use Disk Manager on your hard drive, you can fix Error 91 by removing the Disk Manager signature from the Master Boot Record (MBR)." I have 5 partitions running XP & ME. What is Disk Manager and do I need it to run dual OS's?

Reply: (edit)Disk Manager is exactly that. It is a program which takes some Bios's past the maximum they will allow for disk capacity. It resides on the MBR of your hard disk and must be removed before Drive Image will run. I am still looking for the removal info. I had to remove EzDrive from a drive once and I think this will be similar.

Reply: (edit)Here a few sites to check http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;73253 http://forums.us.dell.com/supportforums/board/message?board.id=pw_harddrive&message.id=765 The second URL gives some pretty specific info on removal of Drive Manager. If you need more info do a Google search and there are lots of possibilities.

Reply: (edit)I neglected to mention that the drive that actually contains Drive Manager MUST be set up as the primary drive. This software only looks at the primary drive. Good luck.
