Comment: I have an access database stored on a server with multiple users accessing to search. Is there a way to lock the layout of the database so that users can not save changes to the layout or format of it, but can still search and use the database as normal?

Reply: (edit)What exactly is "normal?" Do you want to the users to be able to only work with the database without entering any new data? Search Help for User and Group Permissions. That's what you need to set. It's pretty detailed and can be complicated if not managed properly.
